5 Reasons Why You Should Book the Weekend Wedding Package

After our clients decide that they want to book The Farm, the next question they start asking themselves is if it makes sense to book it for a single day or if they should book it for the weekend. Most of the time, our clients decide to book it for the weekend and here are some of the main reasons why…

More Time to Celebrate the Special Occasion with Family & Friends

When you book The Farm for the weekend, you quadruple the amount of time that you get access to the venue, going from a single day 12 hour rental (12pm-12am) to a full weekend 48 hour rental (12pm Friday through 12pm Sunday). This allows more time for everything you need and want to do the weekend of your wedding.

Guaranteed Friday Night Rehearsal for a Saturday Wedding

Take all the time you want rehearsing the night before the wedding at our waterfront outdoor chapel

When couples book a Saturday, single day rental at The Farm, they are guaranteed access to the property for 90 minutes during the week leading up to their wedding for their rehearsal. But the day of the rehearsal is based on our event schedule, so if another couple is getting married on a Friday, that won’t be possible. When you book the weekend wedding package, Friday night is all yours which also means that there are no time constraints on what you want to get done that evening.

Have Your Rehearsal Dinner on The Farm

The wedding reception is sure to be a great time with all of your attendees, but getting to spend a quieter, more intimate dinner on The Farm with your bridal party and closest family members is a great way to enjoy your last night as an engaged couple. You may also be looking for ways to save money and stay under budget, so why not hold the dinner in a beautiful rustic barn where you can select and control the cost of the food.

Additional Time to Setup and Take Down

Setting up for your special event takes time. Having most of Friday in addition to all of Saturday ensures that you have plenty of time to setup/decorate the barn and chapel to make them look exactly the way you want them to. The other thing you might not have considered is the amount of time needed after your wedding to take everything down. While it is possible to certainly do so and get everything done before midnight on the night of your wedding, having the space until 12pm the following day provides additional time to return the following morning and get everything taken care of. It also means that your wedding reception can go later into the evening, allowing you and your attendees more time to dance the night away.
